Membership Fee Information

The Management Committee of Break the Boundary Inc. is excited to introduce our annual Membership Fee for Active Members, starting 2025.

This membership structure ensures the sustainability of our programs and equipment while continuing to provide high-quality adaptive mountain biking and hiking experiences.

*Please note this Membership Fee is only applicable to Active Members*

Am I an Active Member?

An Active Member is any participant that uses Break the Boundary equipment (i.e. the adaptive mountain bikes and/or adaptive hiking chariots).

Family members, friends and care teams who accompany an Active Member on a hike or a MTB Clinic must sign the membership agreement (but do not need to pay).

Active Members pay $50 per year and receive:

Exclusive Access – Use our extensive range of adaptive equipment, the only collection of its kind in Australia.

Access to Member Events – Participate in exclusive Break the Boundary gatherings.

Expert Support – Ride and hike with a team of experienced leaders.

20% Off Break the Boundary Merchandise – Enjoy discounts on our gear.

Custom Member Merchandise – receive a special edition item for the year.

Your membership fee contributes to:

Maintaining and upgrading our extensive range of adaptive equipment.

Ensuring our equipment is insured.

Keeping our community events and programs running smoothly.

Important: Personal Injury Insurance

Break the Boundary strongly recommends that all participants obtain personal injury insurance. While we have safety measures in place, outdoor adventure sports carry inherent risks. Break the Boundary does not offer direct insurance cover for participants. If an emergency evacuation is required, costs such as helicopter rescue (up to $5,000) will not be covered by Break the Boundary or your membership fee.
